Dear Campers,
We have some important updates regarding our Camp Cosmico schedule.
Sunday activities, including the lantern festival, have been cancelled.
After careful consideration and consultation with local authorities, we've made the difficult decision to cancel Sunday's activities, including the lantern launch.
This decision stems from our commitment to safety and quality, recognizing the challenges presented by the anticipated traffic expected to the area Sunday through Tuesday around the eclipse.
the Total Solar Eclipse Tailgate on Monday:
We're thrilled to transform Monday into a Total Eclipse Tailgate event, a safe and enjoyable gathering for all. We'll have essential amenities including food trucks and porta potties.
Tickets will be sold per vehicle, and you will be given eclipse-viewing glasses for each person in your party.
This is your chance to get off the highway and witness the eclipse's magic alongside a fun-loving community.
If you’re aiming to beat the Monday traffic, bring you tents and sleeping gear and join us for an overnight car campout.
Gates will be opening on Sunday evening for you to secure your spot in our spectator lot, providing a perfect spot to await the eclipse.
If you're planning on arriving Monday, we recommend aiming to arrive no later than 9:00 am to avoid heavy traffic.

Thursday - Saturday:
Funny Car Chaos Nostalgic Drag Racing
- Thursday, April 4th: 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
- Friday, April 5th: 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
- Saturday, April 6th: 9:00 am – 11:00 pm

Sunday, April 7th:
Funny Car Chaos racer load out, car camping begins for Total Eclipse Tailgate
- Spectator lot opens at 6:00 pm for car campers
Monday, April 8th:
Camp Cosmico Total Eclipse Tailgate
- Spectator Lot / Gates open at 7:00 am to accommodate early birds.
- Eclipse viewing from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
We STRONGLY recommend arriving no later than 9:00 am on Monday to avoid traffic.

Options for Sunday ticket holders:
We have the following options for any Camp Cosmico ticket holders who purchased tickets hoping to come see the Lantern Festival on Sunday.
- Complete refund of your tickets.
- Transfer your Sunday tickets to the Total Eclipse Tailgate on Monday.
Gates will open at 6:00 pm on Sunday for the car campout. Save your spot for the eclipse viewing on Monday. You'll receive a refund for the difference in ticket price. - Transfer your Camp Cosmico tickets to Funny Car Chaos.
Choose your date for the crown jewel of the Funny Car Chaos Championship series on April 4th, 5th, or 6th. - Transfer your Camp Cosmico tickets to Stars of Texas.
Choose your date to join us for unforgettable music, lanterns, and racing thrills on October 4th, 5th, or 6th.
October's Stars of Texas Festival will feature two nights of lantern launches and the full glamping and camping experience initially planned for Camp Cosmico. Lantern launches will be held on Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th. More information about tickets and lineup at: starsoftexas.com

If your order qualifies for one of the options above, you will see a “Request Form” button below your order. Form submissions will close on Wednesday, April 3rd at midnight. Requests will be processed as we receive them.
